This policy explains what information Spinnet collects, why, and how you can control it.

1. Information we collect

Account information — your name, email address, phone number, city, and profile photo, whether you sign up directly or via Google.

Listing information — vehicle details, photos, and pricing you submit when creating a listing.

Messages and offers — the content of messages, offers, and booking requests you send through the platform.

Payment information — Razorpay, our payment partner, processes card, UPI, and bank details directly. We receive transaction status and amounts, not your raw payment credentials.

Usage information — pages you visit, searches you run, and basic device/browser information, for keeping the platform working and secure.

2. How we use your information

• To operate your account and let you list, browse, message, and transact on Spinnet
• To process rent and lease payments and deposits through Razorpay
• To verify listing registration numbers against duplicates within Spinnet
• To send you account, transaction, and message notifications
• To detect and prevent fraud, spam, and abuse
• To improve the platform

3. What we share, and with whom

When you message another user, make an offer, or book a rental or lease, the other party sees your name and the content you send — that's necessary for the transaction to work. We don't share your phone number or email with the other party unless you choose to share it yourself in a message.

We share payment details with Razorpay to process rent and lease payments. We don't sell your personal information to third parties, and we don't share it for third-party advertising.

We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the safety and rights of Spinnet users.

4. Data retention

We keep your account and transaction information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period after that to meet legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution needs. You can request deletion of your account as described in Section 6.

5. Cookies

Spinnet uses cookies to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences like your theme. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

6. Your rights

You can:

• Access and update your account information
• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Request that we delete your account and associated personal data, subject to any transactions or records we're legally required to keep

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures — encrypted connections, hashed passwords, and access controls — to protect your information. No system is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep your data safe.

8. Children's privacy

Spinnet isn't intended for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
