1. Who we are

Spinnet is an online marketplace that connects people who want to buy, sell, lease, or rent used vehicles directly with each other, peer to peer. These Terms govern your use of the Spinnet website and apply to every account holder, buyer, seller, lessor, lessee, owner, and renter on the platform.

By creating an account or using Spinnet, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding contract under Indian law to use Spinnet. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account.

3. What Spinnet is — and isn't

Spinnet is a venue, not a party to the transactions that happen on it. When you buy, sell, lease, or rent a vehicle through Spinnet, you're entering into a direct agreement with the other user, not with Spinnet. We don't own, inspect, or take title to any vehicle listed on the platform, and we're not a dealer, broker, or financier.

For sale listings, Spinnet does not process the purchase price — buyers and sellers settle that directly between themselves. For rentals and leases, Spinnet does process the booking, deposit, and (for leases) recurring payments through our payment partner, as described in Section 5.

4. Listings

As a seller, owner, or lessor, you're responsible for making sure your listing is accurate. This includes:

• The vehicle's make, model, year, mileage, condition, and registration number
• Photos that genuinely represent the vehicle
• Clear, honest pricing and lease/rental terms
• Owning the vehicle or having the legal right to sell, lease, or rent it out

We check listing registration numbers for duplicates within Spinnet to prevent the same vehicle being listed twice. This is not a substitute for a buyer's own due diligence — always verify a vehicle's registration, ownership, and condition before completing a transaction.

We may remove a listing, or suspend an account, if it's reported and found to violate these Terms or looks fraudulent.

5. Fees and payments

Spinnet charges a 10% platform commission on rent and lease transactions processed through the platform, deducted from the amount paid out to the owner or lessor. Sale transactions carry no platform commission, since the purchase price is settled directly between buyer and seller.

Sellers can optionally pay to feature ("boost") a listing for extra visibility for a fixed duration. Boost fees are separate from any transaction commission.

All payments on Spinnet are processed by Razorpay, a licensed payment aggregator. We don't store your card, UPI, or bank account details — Razorpay handles that directly. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for how deposits and payments are handled.

6. Messaging and offers

Spinnet's messaging system is meant for coordinating a transaction — asking questions, making offers, arranging viewings and handovers. Don't use it to send spam, harass other users, or share content unrelated to a listing.

7. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• List a vehicle you don't own or aren't authorized to sell, lease, or rent
• Post false, misleading, or stolen vehicle information or photos
• Attempt to circumvent Spinnet's payment or commission system for rent or lease transactions
• Harass, threaten, or defraud another user
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose

8. Reporting and moderation

Any user can report a listing that looks misleading, fraudulent, already sold, or otherwise problematic. We review reports and may remove listings or suspend accounts at our discretion. We don't guarantee that every report will result in a specific outcome.

9. Limitation of liability

Spinnet is provided "as is." We don't guarantee the accuracy of any listing, the condition of any vehicle, or the conduct of any user. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Spinnet isn't liable for disputes, losses, or damages arising from a transaction between users, or from a vehicle's condition, roadworthiness, or history.

10. Termination

You can stop using Spinnet at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, engages in fraud, or poses a risk to other users.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute relating to these Terms or the platform is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kerala.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continuing to use Spinnet after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
